A Day in the Life of a Camper

Of course, every day is unique, but here is an example of a typical day.

At around 7.30am - Your helper will come and help you get up, washed/showered and dressed, including everything else you need to do in the morning. You will then have breakfast in the dining room. If the weather is nice, this may be outside. There is normally a cooked breakfast, as well as a selection of cereals, toast or porridge.

During the day - This is the time for activities such as preparing for shows, going for a swim, a visit to town, or even a day trip. Previous camps have included outings for paintballing, waterskiing and shopping trips.
Time must also be found to do the chores. ALL campers are expected to lend a hand with the daily tasks, which include kitchen helpers, site maintenance (emptying bins and sweeping floors, Toilet Block (cleaning sinks, toilets and showers) and of course washing up. All chores will be completed with your helper and will be assigned on a rota.

Evening - This is the time for a show, or karaoke, or a party, a campfire barbeque, or simply a quiet evening for a casual game of cards or a chat as the sun goes down and the stars come out.

At the end of a long, busy day it will be time for bed to get some rest ready for a whole new day in the morning.

Don't forget, there are always helpers on duty at night, should you have a call of nature or some other need of assistance.
